You can print these out and work on them or, to save ink, just work them out on a piece of notebook paper. The last link, Math-at-Home has a variety of activities, including games, for your child.

Science: Habitat

Science: Habitat-A place where a plant or animal lives.

Pick your favorite habitat; Ocean, Pond, RainForest or Desert. Write about what it looks like, what animals would live in it and the climate and weather of it.
Social Studies: Magnets

1. Log on to You-Tube & watch:
Magnets & Magnetism

Scavenger Hunt:
Use a magnet and search your house for items that would stick or attract to your magnet and items that would not.
Make a poster and draw your results of the scavenger hunt. Draw the items that attract to your magnet & also draw the items that do not attract to your magnet.
Remember magnets push & pull items close to it or away from it this is called a magnetic force!

- Pick one of your Favorite Ohio Animals (Chipmunk, skunk, white tailed deer, lady bug, cardinal, raccoon, monarch butterfly or another one of your choice.)
- Research your animal on the internet.
- List your favorite facts about your animal. Include:
